Is there a way to connect to internet through the data cable when plugged into a laptop? I don't have wifi or 3g inside my bldg. My phone is a droid.

Are you wanting to use the phone as a data connection for your computer or are you wanting to use the computer as a data connection for your phone? The post is a little unclear.

I am trying to use the data connection from my work laptop for the phone. The building where I work in has no wireless and all the walls are concrete so there is no service of any kind to the phone.
