How do I transfer all my apps over to my new phone?

This is my first time that I have upgraded to another smart phone and I am completely confused about how to transfer my files from my old Incredible to my new Incredible 2. The people at my local Verizon store were no help at all and I am completely disappointed with their attitude. They seemed annoyed by my question and their answer left me more confused. So I attempted to do what they said and hooked up my gmail onto my new phone and they said the apps would automatically download from the market. Well, that isn't happening. Did I do something wrong? I don't want to go back into the that store and I wanted to see if I could do it myself. Thank you.

No matter if you backup or not the apps information is stored with your Google Market account, all you should have to do is open the market / press manu / My Apps and then it will list all your payed apps... Did you use the same gmail account you used on the previous device?

Try logging into the gmail market account online and see if the applications that you installed are listed their and if so you can select the apps and push them back to the device...

Did you open the market app and look under "my apps" to view your paid applications available for redownloading? If the Dinc had the backup to Google option your applications should have redownloaded to the new phone as long as you put in the same gmail account that was the Dinc. I know that it does work because I happened to me when I switched from the Eris to the Thunderbolt. I was expecting to redownload all my applications manually. Which of course, you can still do and might be preferred to avoid app conflicts.

Thanks, but this didn't help. Maybe I didn't back up my old Incredible right.

Have you tried using the the BUMP app. He is how I got most of mine to new phone and it was pretty to do

Yes, this worked. Thank you! I logged into the android market online with my Gmail account and I can see all of my apps on the computer, but they aren't showing up when I look under "my apps" on my phone. I was able to "send" them to my phone to be downloaded.
