Pre ordered on 10/7 received confirmation but still hasn't shippedI

I pre ordered my phone on 10/7 at 2:10am(central zone) and received my confirmation at 2:43am but it still hasn't shipped. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out if I'm getting my phone no later than 10/14 , after all thats why i woke up at 2:10 last Friday to pre-order.

Pretty sure you will get it on Friday. I ordered mine about 13 minutes before you and received my tracking number a few hours ago. Scheduled for delivery on Friday. There are people who ordered later than you did who are already getting tracking numbers. The waiting is the hardest part...

Who knows. I ordered at Noon but my CC has not been charged yet, so no way I think I'm getting mine by Friday. But I'm porting over with my number from ATT, so that's probably delaying it.

Have you checked the status of the order by way of the confirmation email? I got a confirmation email but somehow my order was dumped out of the system....blah I can't get over it.

Anyways, I knew mine was eff'd up this morning when I clicked the 'check your order status' link, entered my order number, and got something to the effect of "we had a problem processing your order, please contact us".

If you don't have that, you're probably fine.

Not that I am overly obsessing about this phone, but this is my first iphone and I would like to have it sooner than later.

Seems I am in the same boat. Ordered my black 16gb on Friday around 5:30pm (eastern time) and have not received any other emails from Verizon besides my order conformation. I was starting to worry until this afternoon when my card was charged and when checking my order it now states, “Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011”.

Not that I am overly obsessing about this, but I would like my phone sooner, rather than later.

Funny story, I, also was getting that error when checking my order status. I was using my order number from the confirmation email, which was a 4 digit number and my last name. I was getting nervous, so I started trying different ways to look up the order status.

On the order status page it gives you three options to choose from when selecting which method you used to make the order

1-Verizonwireless.com

2-Verizon Store

3-Over the phone.

Naturally, I was selecting the first method and receiving the error message, so I tried the second method. It then changed from asking for only an order number and last name to asking for an Ace number, last name and order location number.

I used my order number for the "ace number" field and the order location number that was given to me in the confirmation email.

When I tried that, this is what was displayed :

Order Number:		xxxx

Tracking Number:		Courier : Status: Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011 Ship Date:

Also my CC was finally charged just a few hours ago. I'm confident my phone will arrive friday. Verizon has never let me down so far, but i'm going to keep my fingers crossed.

Hope this helps and we all receive our beautiful iPhones Friday or Thursday if we're lucky. :smileyhappy:

pre-ordered my 32 white on the 7th at 3:15am est... late last night it finally changed from just saying that my order is being processed blah blah to the little "Courier/ Status:Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011/Ship Date" chart that I saw everyone post days ago (exact one as rosenburg just posted). credit card not charged yet. starting to get antsy...I'd be happy with just knowing what service is delivering it to me! makes a big difference for arrival time here. not understanding how people who ordered after me have far more info than I do :smileysad:

I got my confirmation email at 12:03 Pacific and didn't get my shipping email with confirmation email until last night around 8pm central. I live in Kansas and it is shipping from Memphis.

In my opinion it depends on how far your delivery is from the shipping center on when you get your information. If you are only a delivery day away you probably won't get tracking until today.

Although my cc wasn't charged until yesterday my phone status just updated with a ship date of 10/11. The previous ship date was 10/14. Hopefully, yours has already shipped too.

I ordered around 10am est on the 7th and received confirmation right away. just got my tracking numbers at 3am this morning but UPS says they "cannot locate shipment details" and on the verizon tracking page it lists the courior as UPS and the ship date as 10/12/2011 but no status. Im worried because so many people have been able to see all the details and for some reason I cant.

rawr, I wouldn't worry yet, especially if they were shipped overnight, nothing may show up until late tonight or even after it's at your door. UPS has a good tracking system, but the iPhone volume may be overwhelming it. FedEx for me updated almost 10 hours after its last activity, so that's prob what's happening. Good luck though! I hope you get it tomorrow!

Yeah, ordered my phone at 9:00 EST and have still received a tracking number and my card as not been charged yet. Yet vzw is claiming that I have met the cutoff time to get my phone tomorrow. It doesn't make sense and pretty much makes me completely irate at them that I STILL have yet to get anything when ppl all over are posting that they have had later times than myself get their stuff already. I mean come on! I want to get rid of this crappy Druid X2 now!

Add me to the list of people who ordered within the correct timeframe for delivery on 10/14, but haven't received a shipping confirmation.

I also ordered accessories on the same order. Was that a mistake? Could that be holding things up? I'd hate to be waiting on my phone because the screencovers are backordered.

I don't think accessories would hold these up, I ordered a case when I got my X and ordered it the night sales went live.

Yep, I just got this too in the last 25 mins and CC charged as well. So does that mean overnight for us? Cool if so, then they normally deliver those in the morning over here versus in the evening.

Mine said that for about 24hrs but then today I got an update that mine has shipped via UPS. No tracking info is available but it says the method is UPS Next Day Air. Still no charge on my CC though...but I imagine that's on my CC end not VZW.

Should be, mine shipped out of Memphis last night, showing delivery by 3PM... Odd thing on my track looks like it scanned this morning but is showing future delivery requested, showing by 8PM now. No biggie but strange.
