UPS label printed but has not shipped yet

How long does it take for the product to get to the UPS center and for them to ship it? I got the tracking information at 4p.m. today and this is the information that I get. When I check order status on VZW website, it says that it was shipped on the 11th. I am just trying to see if my phone will arrive friday or later.

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

I wouldn't worry. It can take UPS a few hours to update their tracking system. Plus they may be making several trips to pick up phones due to volume. Ive seen them pick up at late as 11PM before, well that's when it hut the system. It could also be Next Day Air, meaning they'll pick up tomorrow for Friday delivery. Check in the morning and in the afternoon tomorrow. I bet it shows up.

No UPS tracking system is up to the min with updates they are good like that. UPS has yet to pick up the package from Verizon. Verizon just printed the label and has them ready to ship that's all. When they print the label we get an email when UPS picks it up it will say accepted. Verizon will let UPS pick them up tomorrow shipped next day so we get them on the 14th before 3 pm. Nothing wrong with the tracking number and they will ship tomorrow be patient. Verizon is being tight with this release and holding iphones till the very last day so nobody gets them early. I don't know why it would be cheaper for Verizon to ship Yesterday or today with 2 day shipping but then there would be a chance we would get them early and they don't want that. Now Verizon will be bombarded with activations on the 14th

Well actually, it says it's being shipped by 2nd day air. If it said overnight shipping, I wouldn't be worried.

Its just a phone just hold out 12 hours and you will have all your info Thursday (day1) Friday (day 2)????

I am right next to Philly airport and most likely my phone will ship from westchester which is less then 1 hour away. You will have it the 14th

Mine says the 11th too on the VZW website. It's a bit misleading but I'm guessing it says the 11th because this was the day my card was charged so the order was probably "released for shipping". Check the UPS site, it should say when the label was printed which for me was today the 12th. Also note that my shipping label says one day shipping.

I'm guessing all our phones are sitting on a palette on a loading dock all lined up nice and pretty - UPS will probably start picking up the two-day shipments tonight for delivery on the 14th - and then pick up the other palletes (with one day shipping) some time tomorrow for delivery on the 14th.

This makes sense to me, give UPS one batch tonight with 2 day shipping so they can process them and get them on planes and trucks.... and then another batch tomorrow with one day shipping so it doesn't clog their mail sorting warehouses...

I agree - you would think... but kind of explains why some people have 2 day shipping and others have 1 day... sounds like there were 600,000 pre-orders on the first day which I'm presuming will ship via a combo of UPS and Fedex (not inlcuding retail units all ready sitting at stores)....

Either way... guess we'll find out more tomorrow :smileywink:
