What is the difference between the '2gb data plan with personal email' and the 'unlimited web and email plan'? they both cost the same. Why?

spottedcatfish is correct. The unlimited data plan for $29.99 is now retired but I definitely encourage you to review our current Data Plans. Have a great evening!
The 2GB data plan for $30/month is the lowest tier of the data offerings for postpaid smartphones. It can also be used for feature phones.
The unlimited data plan was discontinued for postpaid phones early in July, but when it was available, it included unlimited GBs of usage for $29.99/month for either feature or smartphones. I think you can still get it with a monthly prepaid plan on a smartphone.
