Poor cell coverage in NYC

I do not understand how I can have such poor cell service in downtown Manhattan around the stock exchange. No Verizon phone works well here. I am surrounded by 4 or 5 towers and I don't get good service on new street. Keep dropping 3G and even 4G doesn't work well. When you call Verizon, they tell you that we don't guarantee coverage. AT&T works better here then Verizon. Can you send someone to go check the towers to make sure everything is working properly? All my coworkers who use Verizon constantly drops calls here. Please help!!

When you say 4G doesn't work well, are you referring to another device? The iPhone 4 doesn't have access to VZW's 4G service.

Many things can factor into poor coverage areas and why it occurs. Just as you stated that AT&T works better in the area you are referring to than Verizon, it is vice-versa in other areas (or perhaps another carrier has better service than AT&T and VZW). As far as your request goes, it would have a better chance of happening if you contact VZW Tech Support and asked if it is something they will (or have) done.
