Blocking Number Question

We needed to block a phone number on my daughters phone and followed the directions in previous questions to do that. However, our next question is does the person who is blocked get some sort of notification that their number was blocked? We have someone harassing our 16 1/2 year old daughter and are trying to cut off any contact whatsoever between them. :smileymad:

Yes they will receive a notification as follows:

Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call.

I believe the receive a similar message when attempting to text your daughter's number as well.
