Since the update I've had the no audio problem, lag, half battery life. I've been reseting my phone 1-2 times a day to make/ receive calls since then waiting for a patch or something to fix these problems. Then I find that verizon/HTC are apparently not addressing these wide spread problems so I did a factory reset because I heard it worked for some. After that did not work I called verizon who did not directly acknowledge the Eris update problems I'm sure that they have heard already. I'm going to recieve the refurbished replacement and upon asking verizon if it comes with the 2.1 update already installed they did not know because HTC which will be sending the phone. So I call HTC, who DID acknowledge the update problems that ruin the phone but did not know if it was pre-installed with 2.1. since it was coming through verizon.
The only answer I recieved was when I asked the HTC rep if it did not come already updated if she would recommend me updating to 2.1. and she said NO.
