I ordered the Iphone 4 8g on the phone last weekend. It should be arriving tomorrow.

After talking with some people, I'm wondering if I should have just paid the extra 100 dollars to upgrade to the 4S 16g?

Can I take the 4 8g in the box to a retailer to exchange it or do I have to go through the whole process of mailing it back and waiting for the new one?

If you ordered a phone online, you have to return the phone through the same method that it was delivered. You can call customer service to have a return label sent to you through email. However the phone and all its accessories must be returned in the same box it came in.

You can go to the store and swap it at a corporate store but there's going to be $35 restocking fee. My brother had the same situation as you. Call the nearest corporate store to make sure.

Isent it if your within 3 days you activation fee is waived not the restocking fee?

i'm not positive, but i think there's no restock fee if you return within 3 days.
