With your Verizon Wireless phone you'll be lucky if you can even make/receive calls with it.
But I digress; aside from calling you should be able to do voice commands and dial-up networking (tethering). Some devices support sending/receiving of files (ringtones/pictures/sounds). Most devices will allow you to send contacts.
You should have a Bluetooth profiles supported section in the manual of your phone.
I don't know the details of all that. I've never had the need to use Bluetooth for anything except playing music using stereo Bluetooth. Do you know the steps to at least pair your bluetooth headset/speaker to your phone?
