Droid 3 How do I block incoming group texts originating from specific individuals?

I keep getting group texts (mass texts) from two certain individuals, and some of the other recipients will reply to it, essentially doing a "Reply All". I guess this is a two part question. First, how do I block text from these individuals (if it's possible to just block group texts, I'd like to do that, but if not, then blocking all texts from them would work). Second, if I block texts from these individuals, will that prevent the other people that they've messaged from messaging me if they do the "Reply All" thing?

If there's not a feature on the Droid 3, or a permanent solution on the Verizon site (the current block feature only lasts for 90 days, then has to be renewed), then are there any recommended apps for doing this?

i'm not aware of a true block, except for going through verizon (as you mentioned). some of the 3rd party sms/mms apps have features like "blacklist" (or other terms).....but they don't block the message. all they do is NOT notify you of it. for example, you would receive the message and it would be in your list of messages, but you wouldn't know it was there unless you opened the app and happened upon it, because you would have received no notification.
