How can I confirm what programs are running on my phone? I am not a big user of the net but Verizon is telling me I have used 50% of my monthly allotment?
Hello all! Thanks to the community members that have provided insight as to how to monitor usage on the Droid RAZR. Ack, you can get an idea what applications are running on your phone. From the main screen, click on the Menu button at the bottom of your display. Select Settings> Applications> Running services. You also have some ability to exercise general control of the applications that use data on your device by going to Menu> Settings> Data manager> Data Saver.
These features can keep you in the know of what you're phone is doing as well as help you to control what your phone does. You can also log into your account using My Verizon to see when your phone is connecting to data services and how much data is being used. When you log in, look for the section called "My Usage" Under that banner, click on the blue hyperlink that reads "Usage Details". This action will take you to a new page that shows general information on your minutes, text, and data usage. Scroll down to "Data", then click on the blue hyperlink that reads "View Usage Details".
And remember, you can always check your data usage by dialing #DATA (#3282) from your Droid RAZR.
I sincerely hope these tools help you control your data. If you have any other concerns, please let me know!

I use ONAVO. Tells you exactly how much each app and service uses of your mobile data. But, you'll need to let it run for a day or two to get an accurate snapshot...
