Can anyone tell me what the symbols or icons after a persons name in the contact list represent. Sometimes it is green, blue, or black. I cannot find any help topic cover this.
Can you provide a little more information. What phone do you have? What do the symbols/icons look like? Describe them.
one is a green dot or it can be blue with a down arrow or black with an X It is before the one for online for chat
i am thinking green is phone on signed into gmail. blue is phone on signed out of gmail, black is phone off
I believe they tell you if that person is available, away, or not logged in for a chat on one of the IM apps. I use Google Talk and they are circles; green, orange with clock hands, red, and dark gray with an X.
I have a droid and they are in one of my igoogle circles but don't know if it's igoogle, or gmail
