speedtest.net app test results on my DROID 4. good speeds?
From Hawaii to Utah
Tidbits i'm getting some good speeds when i'm in the 4G over in Wichita on my Razr it's even better than my Wi-Fi at home. B33 :smileyhappy:
so I guess not compared to yours lol. it's still awesome tho.
Here is the list of tests i recently did. The lowest one was 5K miles away :smileyhappy:
Currently I believe anything over 5mbps is good for 4G at it's infancy and expect those areas should get better. Radios and firmware do play a role as well.

Sadly so are mine. We get capped on upload speeds... Download speeds are OK but it is sad that a carrier can give you better speeds on 3G(HSPA+ is really 3G) and get blown out of the water when it comes to 4G speeds(Ironically Sprint is slower with Wimax, but still twice as fast).
Oh what's not listed was offpeak and on island I was getting 65mbps downloads and 19mbps uploads...
That really isn't abnormal, my device does better speeds than my Time Warner service at home.. Basically this is why company throttle, at those speeds users will drop home service and tap the networks bandwidth..
Wildman Does using a say higher end Router Help any for getting a higher speed or a pricier Tier package from the Cable Company Why i ask on the Router i was thinking about getting a NetGear N600 witch is the Best one Cox Sells it shows it can do up to 300 + 300 Mbps it a Dual Router i think. The one i have is a N300.
Holy crap! These speedtest results are not what I am observing at all! I would love to see that kind of performance. What do I need to do? Here is a post I just made regarding speedtesting and my experience. Unnaceptable download and upload speeds observed Thanks for any pointers in advance :-)
