incoming txt msgs repeating

Going to throw this out there even though after 2 years I don't expect any answers.

i continue to get repeats of incoming txt msgs. Not all the time but enough to really make me regret being at Verizon.

Have a Droid X, running latest stock version of OS and stick msg application.

If you have any idea what might help go ahead and reply.

Thanks for the information you have provided. I don't want you to regret your decision to be with us. Have you tried to uninstall the messaging application to determine if you still get duplicates?

You can even put the phone in safe mode  http://bit.ly/OAXCYhto disable any third party apps to see if the problem still occurs.
