Switching devices on current plan.

My phone died. Verizon no longer sells this model. Can I buy one from a third party and switch it out on my plan? It is one of three phones on our plan.

As long as it's a Verizon phone and has a clear ESIN.

As long as the device you are purchasing is not on our lost/stolen list and is not currently active on another account, you can absolutely buy a phone from a third party and activate it on your account. Prior to purchasing the device you can contact us to verify that the phone has a clear device id and will have no issues being activated on your account.
