Droid Eris: GMail not available

I changed my mobile number and now I cannot access my Gmail account.

 

I actually forget what I picked for my GMail user name, I also did not set it up a secondary email. Is there anything I can do to figure this out to retrieve my GMAIL username? Can I do a hard reset?

If you forgot what you picked for your Gmail user name, then you would either need to try to retrieve it online, or create a completely new one via factory reset.
