HTC Droid Eris Upgrade to 2.1

Upgraded from 1.2 to 2.1.  SInce then am unable to set speed dial or add to favorite contacts.  Software problem? or just a

defective phone?  Any suggestions or solutions?  Anyone elso with the same problem?

If you did over the air to 2.1 then it might be as simple as a reset. I have heard other complain about similar issues after there update though. Remove the stars from your favorites and then restart your phone and readd them to your favorites and see if that helps. I don't use speed dial so I haven't tried that since I have had the phone anyway. I dial the name on screen. First 3 letters gets most of them. Works better than favorites list too for me. The dial pad uses T9 which means you tap once on the number to represent the letter you want and then goto the next one. For instance mrhost would be 674678, but within the first three 674 you could easily see it in most cases. I love it. Works for names or known numbers too.
