I am due for an upgrade on March 5th. The Android is coming up at $199 when I inquire about an upgrade now (Feb 19). Will the price be lower if I wait until March 5th?
It depends on what you mean by upgrade and what the $199 was referring to. Is the $199 the 2 yr contract price? I am also due for an upgrade in Feb. In fact, my upgrade window opens tomorrow. However, since I am on a family shared plan and my wife's phone is the primary line, I don't get the new-every-two pricing in addition to the 2 yr contract price. My "upgrade" is just getting a new phone at the 2 yr contract pricing. I don't know what the situation is for you.
The current android phones that are out right now might drop in price once the new Nexus comes to Verizon.
I just upgraded this past Thursday. The 2 yr new contract price on the display card said $179.99 but the sales lady said since I'm upgrading, I get it for $100, then I got $100 rebate, so my Eris was free.

You can see the current prices by clicking on Phones and Accessories above. These prices include the on-line discount which is the same as the mail in rebate if you buy in a store or over the telephone. If you are due for a NE2 discount, you can subtract that also. All prices are subject to change, so it's possible they could change at any time. Personally, I don't try to second quess prices or new phone introductions. If I need or want a new phone, I order it. There will always be something new and better on the way and old technology will always get cheaper.
