If you hover over support on the verizon website, under get help select device. Select the iphone and it should give you an option to download the guide/manual.
I googled your request and several options came up.....the link I am sending is the closest one I found....came from the Apple website...I was not able to find a complete manual for the 4 but the basics should be close enough even if it pertains to the 5......http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_ios5_user_guide.pdf.
