Like a lot of people, I upgraded to the iPhone 4 when it became available to Verizon in February of 2011. Therefore my upgrade date is 10/14/12. I know that it is next to impossible to get an early upgrade in order to get the iPhone 5 pre-ordered Friday. I haven't really dealt a lot with ordering apple products (I ordered the 4 online the date of release). So how long do they usually go out of stock and into back order? Am I likely to be able to at least order it at my upgrade date in October or will it likely still be on back order passed then?
Also, when reading some of the other posts, I've gotten confused regarding the loss of unlimited data. Do you lose the unlimited no matter which line upgrades to a new phone or do you only lose it if the main line upgrades?
If I upgrade and lose unlimited, does this affect all other lines (like all having to switch to share everything) or am I able to choose tiered data (only affecting my line)?
