Can we check our voicemail online? Can it be transferred to computer?

My mom passed away, and she left me a wonderful message in the weeks prior to her passing. I keep re-saving but I'd like to save it on my computer permanently. Any ideas on how to do this? Someone recommended using Skype to dial my voicemail, and use a computer program to record the message as it plays. I tried it on another message, and that message was lost because of issues with Verizon voicemail recognizing key pad tones from the computer to complete the transaction. Help!!! any suggestions of how I can save this very special message?????

Verizon Wireless uses a third party company to transfer voicemails to a removable media format. If you have visual voicemail, then you would have other options.

Do you have a SD (Memory) Card? Once subscibed, you can save the message to your SD Card and then transfer it directly to your computer. You do have the option of removing the Visual Voicemail, once the message is safely imported to your PC.
