exchanging black iphone 5 for white iphone 5

i know this might sound idiotic, but i recently had a change of heart of which color to get, i ordered a black iphone 5 and expect it to be here on the 28th but after doing further research on scratch issues with it I was wondering if i could go to my local verizon store and exchange it for a white one? quick replies will be helpful

Your only other option would be to contact VZW and address the request...but chances are it will cause you to be pushed back in the shipping order. Remember also that your 14 days starts on the day the phone ships, NOT the day that you activate it...always thought that was unfair but it's the way they do it. So technically, you may only have 12-13 days to exchange. Yes, it's only a day or two difference but those days can matter if you really needed them lol.

You could exchange it, but it is very difficult to find any in stock. I have yet to find a store that has them for even exchange.

Good luck man. Hard enough as it is for some people to get the phone they ordered and you are asking to swap colors out. You could have some enemies quick but your scenario would be to call and have your ordered switched but as has been mentioned, that will likely push your order out before you receive it.
