Sending a text but recipient is not receiving message

I recently got the iPhone 5 and there is one number that I am aware of that I am sending messages to and they are saying that they have been sent but the intended recipient is not getting them. I can receive that person's messages though. Anybody know how to help me with this? It is frustrating because I can't get anything to that one contact.

Have you verified you are sending to the full ten digit number? What kind of device does this other person has? Do you know if your phone is attempting to send the messages as iMessages?

Yes, I have verified that I am sending to the full ten digit number. The other person has a Motorola Droid Razr. My phone is not attempting to send it as an iMessage. The messages are being sent as texts and they are sending from my phone. They are not saying that they are failing to send. When I try to send a picture though it does fail to send.

Could that person be blocking you? Can you call them and the call goes through?

SheaN, I can see how it would be frustrating to not be able to send messages to one person. First delete your previous message thread with that contact and send a new message. If no change, please try deleting the contact from your phone and send a new message by manually entering the number. If they receive it, re-add them as a contact. Another step if still having issues is to reset the network settings Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.

still not receiving my texts.

Thanks for trying those steps SheaN. I would have that user delete you from their phone as well and delete the previous thread. Since they have a RAZR, I assume they have VZW. If messages still aren't going thru, we'll need to check both sides to see what is causing the issue.
