I locked my LG ally

I locked my ally while I was making a phone call. I finally took the battery out and put it back in. that unlocked it. Is there any other way to unlock it. That is the first time I hit that button on the screen.

Hi Stepz! I'm glad you got the phone unlocked easily! Was it locked with a password or pattern lock? If so, you can set it to something easy to remember so in the future, you can unlock without having to remove the battery. You can also disable to lock functionality completely by going into Settings > Location & Security > Uncheck "Lock" - Let me know if you need additional assistance.
