HELP! How do I unlock a SIM card that is PUK locked. My phone locked me out last night and I have used 5 of my 8 tries attempting to guess the code. I have not ever set a code so am confused. I tried calling Verizon but they are very busy and suggested I go to the Verizon site. I've done both and can't seem to find the info I need. What next? Should I smash the phone? It's a Motorola Droid RZR 4 G.

Hi Kelleyerin,

I hope I've reached you while your phone is still safe. You can find your PUK code on My Verizon with the steps below.

1. Sign in with your mobile number on vzw.com.

2. In the "I Want To..." section click "More Actions."

3. In the "Device" category click "Phone Details."

4. Select "Unlock SIM (PUK) Now" and the PIN and PUK will display.
