droid 4 default text notification will not change to one from zedge -

I changed the 'droid' default notification sound via system settings>>>sound>>>default notification from the 'droid' sound to one appraering on the default notification list. After I click 'OK' It reads as the sound I have chosen yet when I receive a text I still get the 'Droid' sound.

Try changing the ringtone through the settings menu in the text app.

I received a software upgrade on Wednesday and had the same problem. Had to reset my default notification sound that I got from Zedge in two places. First in the text menu and then in system settings\sound\default notification. it seems to be sticking now. Still dealing with other issues being prompted to set default keyboard.

Awesome-yeah, that update messed me up with quite a few things too...keyboard light, some of the icons changed etc...still working out the kins..thank you for your prompt reply and help. Good luck.
