I have backup assistant on my new ally phone. When I try to log in it tells me that my pin is not valid and won't connect. I have had my pin sent to me and it is the same as i am entering. any thoughts other than starting over.

Hi. I can certainly try to assist you with your backup assistant pin number. I do see you did have the pin sent to you via text message. If it is saying the PIN is invalid, try to uninstall the application and install it again.
I also want to highlight the fact that your contacts are automatically stored through your Gmail account if you have it set up on your phone.
Please let me know if it works when you uninstall and reinstall the application again.
