I have had my Droid for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. I recently ran into a problem where I added a new contact but it saved it under another contact's name. How do I fix this?
Are there similarities between the new and old contacts (name or 1 of the #s)? Not sure if it is a bug or a feature but on the Moto Droid I have noticed that contacts are sometimes merged in the phone's contact list if they have similarities, even though your Gmail account contacts will still show them as 2 separate entries.
Al and Alex are the names but totally two different numbers.
Do they still show up as 2 separate contacts in Gmail (web)?
Yes but not on my phone two different contacts saved under one name.
