How do I tell what iOS my phone will support: so far it has failed installation of iOS 6.1!
Are you trying to update it over the air or by plugging it into your computer and using iTunes?
The internet connection to my desktop computer is faster, so I'm using the latter. I know it is an iPhone 4 but someone told me that only 4s can be upgraded that far.
I don't follow the Apple iOS versions very closely, but I thought a friend with an iPhone 4 told me that they updated their phone to iOS 6.0+.
Walkerpbus, thanks for posting. The iPhone 4 will take the newest update. I would try syncing up with iTunes and try the update again. Make sure that you are connected to the net when you update through iTunes.^SP
