Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can't display Chinese song names

I've just got the Note 2 and transferred some of my Chinese songs from my computer to the phone's music folder.

However, when I open the music player, all songs are displayed in weird characters, though they appear in Chinese when I view them in "My Files" folder from Apps. Can anyone help me out with this display problem?

Also, I see from the player setting that I could display lyrics while playing the songs as well, so how do I go about doing that when I'm transferring songs over from my PC? I have some lyrics in .lrc format, but they don't seem to display when I transferred them over to the phone.

Hi Katiena!

You pose some great questions regarding the music files on your phone and how they appear compared to your PC. This issue all comes down to the source of the music files and the capabilities of the device. Are all of the Chinese music files from the same source and do they appear correctly on your PC, just not on your phone? Have you tried chinese music from a different source? It seems as if the phone doesn't have the capability to display those characters. These characters were put in place by the person who created the files, along with the lyrics. You are able to go into the file and change the name of the file so the characters don't appear.
