Combining existing tablet data package with existing phone plan?

I'm a long-time Verizon Wireless customer with a multi-line cellular phone line package.  I also purchased an iPad with a month-to-month 1Gb data package from my local Apple store a while ago.

The issue is that the iPad data account/charges are not connected to the phone line account/charges.

I would save money by bundling phones and iPad data together in the new Share Everything plan, but can't figure out how to do that when the two accounts don't 'see' each other.

Thoughts and advice are appreciated!

No, they don't "see" each other, but when you go to change to the share plan, all of your lines and devices should be listed with an option to add them to the share plan. Just start the process of changing over and at some point you should have the option to combine all your lines onto the account.

Failing that, a Verizon CSR should be able to fix that all up for you.

These plans have paltry data caps though, so just make sure the money you save doesn't go right back out in overage charges (which is of course exactly what Verizon is hoping for).
