Good Evening Fellow Verizon Customers,
On April 30, 2013, the State Of Nevada has legalized Online Poker to be played on Ultimate Poker.com.
However, it is very important to understand in order to do so, besides needing to prove you are at least 21 years of age, one prerequisite is to be able to have your Cell Phone and your Computer's IP Address geolocated in the State of Nevada. In order for Ultimate Poker to verify you are in the State of Nevada, they use a Location Based Service to triangulate your Cell Phone and Computer's IP Address position.
As of right now, ALL VERIZON USERS are being shut out from Ultimate Poker because VERIZON has not allowed for their phones to be geolocated.
Customers of other service providers, such as AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, are having a 96% success rate of verifying they are in the State of Nevada upon logging in at Ultimate Poker.com.
VERIZON, I have lived in the State of Nevada for 23 years and have been a customer of yours around 10 years now. I no longer wish to go into a smoke-filled casino to play live poker. I would rather do it in the privacy of my home.
I would ask that you allow your customers the right to play legalized online poker at Ultimate Poker.com, just as long as they are following the Nevada State Gaming Laws. Furthermore, I would ask that you allow The Location Based Service Ultimate Poker Uses To Verify My Geo Location.
Finally, I want you to realize I do pay $175.00 monthly for Verizon Wireless Services. My 2 year contract does expire on May 30th. I've been a loyal customer of Verizon for several years. Frankly, I don't want to switch my 3 cell phones to a different carrier. However, you may force me to do so if you do not allow me to play Online Poker at ULTIMATE POKER.com
Thank you,
