4G/LTE Droid Bionic

I have a Bionic and I live in Green Bay, WI. My preferred mobile network mode is LTE / CDMA. For the past several days my phone has only had a 3G data connection. I have rebooted the phone several times but it always connects at 3G. When I check network strength on my phone 4G / LTE does not show up at all which makes me suspect that the 4G / LTE network is down in Green Bay but I'm not sure. My phone is up to date, running build 9.8.20-72_VZW-22. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

One other thing to try is turn off the phone, remove the SIM card, wait a few minutes, then reinsert the SIM card and reboot the phone. Maybe all you need is a fresh connection to the network. If that doesn't work, my guess is you either have a bad SIM card that needs to be replaced (and you can get one free at your local Corporate Verizon store) or there is a network issue in your area
