If I transfer an upgrade from one line to another, that are on the same contract, do I need to redeem that upgrade right away or can I transfer and come back at a later date to redeem it?
Transfering an upgrade simply means you're activating the phone you got from an upgrade on a different line. When you "transfer" the upgrade from line 1 to line 2, line 1 still gets the 2 yr contract but you're activating the device on line 2. So to answer your question, you hit "transfer upgrade" at the time you want to upgrade so it'll know where you're activating the phone. Doing it any sooner won't do anything since again, the contract isn't being transfered to another line.
sstanley09, no two lines are alike. Each line has it's own contract end date and upgrade eligibility. You may transfer the upgrade eligibility from one line to another. However, please be advised that this can only be done at the time of placing your equipment order and cannot be redeemed at a later date.
