Calls from 15 digit phone numbers

Over the last few weeks every once in a while I have been receiving calls from a 15 digit phone number on my smartphone. The number is 323498621632349, there is no way I'm going to call it back as it would probably be international. And ideas as to what this could be? I never answer it and they never leave a voicemail.

Hi there, pitchinnate! That's an odd number to see pop up on your caller ID. I'm glad that you've chosen not to call it back because there may indeed be charges resulting from that ("32" is the country code for Belgium, but I'm not able to confirm if the rest of it makes up a phone number). Some callers do have the option to determine how there number appears in an outbound call. The trick is to check the call records themselves for what appears in your list. Have you answered any of these calls? If so, you can check your detailed usage or detailed billing statements at My Verizon (http://bit.ly/xB4iTc ) for more info.

Unfortunately, VZW doesn't currently offer the ability to block calls from numbers with more than 10 characters. If this persists, you may also consider changing your number at My Verizon as well. When processed through that channel, mobile number changes are free of charge.

Hi Pitchinnate! I as well am having the exact same number calling me with the same time frame. I actually just called Verizon support because I'm more concerned with the recent target scam that revealed personal information was stolen as well and is overseas. So, I thought it would be more of interest on Verizon's behalf that they are aware this may be happening to more than just me... then I searched google for just that number and your post popped up! I let the Verizon support person know about this thread and about all they are going to do at this point is note my account, but again, I brought her attention to this thread.

I didn't get any further than you as she said exactly the same as the above statement, and my phone does report Belgium as well.

Hopefully, if it's happening to more people, maybe they will come across this thread and can just bring more visibility.

I had a 724132325000058 number call me and my roommate said it was a tracking number, he called it.
