I worked for a Verizon Wireless store in New Jersey, and the owner fired me specifying the reason for the termination to be a lack of sales ability. Even though I was still in training and had not yet had the chance to show my sales ability, he chose to fire me.... that's not the problem. The problem is that he and his operations manager keep harassing me with text messages and phone calls. They arent even trying to conceal it---they are doing it from the store phones! I've been told that since the harassment originates from a the phone number they use to advertise the Verizon Store from, that this is now a Verizon issue and not just an issue with that franchise(since Verizon has backed them up and approved this store as a premium retailer). I've tried to contact the corporate office hoping that they can put a stop to it, but I'm sitting on hold already 15 minutes and nobody is picking up, nor has the receptionist who put me on hold even come back to the line to refresh the call. Please offer advise.
