I recently had to switch off my sister's family plan.
My sister called first and was told that I could keep my iPhone, transfer it to a solo account for $60 a month for the duration of my previous contract.
Sounds great. I called too, and was told EXACTLY the same thing; $60 a month for the duration of my contract.
Still sounded fine, so I told the customer service rep to set it up.
And now I get my first bill today and it's $117 ?!
Neither my sister or I was told of this $40 "monthly line access", not once.
We've been lied to and now we're being robbed.
This is how verizon treats it's customers? I've been with this company for over 10 years.
Now I am personally going to go out of my way to tell everyone around me this deceitful tale.
You've got ONE chance to make this right verizon.
