I have never been more frustrated with Verizon in all the time that I have used them. I purchased a Galaxy S III on August 16. While we were in the store, the employee told us that he had done everything for the rebate and that we didn't have anything to worry about with it. When we asked him before we left if there was anything else we needed to do he said no. He didn't tell us it had to be completed in 30 days or anything else. I called about the rebate because I hadn't heard anything and they told me they had never received any paperwork and that the time was up for the rebate. They told me to call the store that I went to. When I called and spoke to Trevor today, he got mad and said he never told us anything like that. Denied it several times. He was yelling at me by the time we were done. He finally sent me to his manager. She is now saying that she doesn't remember the Galaxy S III being $50 after the rebate. I have never been treated like this by Verizon. I've recommended people to them and have loved working with them. I've always received good customer service. I'm pretty surprised by how I was treated today. Worse off, I need that $100. I was counting on it. If I had known that there were additional things I needed to do, I would have done them the next day after buying the phones. We received no paperwork, no instructions, and no emailed instructions. They offered me in-store credit to buy gadgets. I don't need any Verizon gadgets. I will never return to that store ever again. I want my rebate!
