Verizon: Why are you not answering our questions about Texas? We demand answers.

You are a communications company and you are refusing to communicate about the statewide outages in Texas.

Why are you consciously choosing to IGNORE your customers.

Sheeze we've got emergency on-call medical personnel who cannot communicate.

What is wrong with you people? Talk to us.

VZW has never offered info on outages on this board as it is a customer to customer site. Best bet is if you have another phone available, call CS 800-922-0204

That or a major trunk line from the phone company.

Yes it was a fiber cut and demonstrates that Verizon has single points of failure.

And Verizon actively prevents (via the SIM) from registering that phone on other available (and working) networks.

T-Mobile allows me to chose alternate carriers at will. Both phones a SS Galaxy S4s.

Thus, if there is an outage Verizon is going to make damn sure that you're not going to be able to use your phone at all.

T-Mobile at least has enough respect for the customer to provide options.

It may help of you don't get a response from any company that is having issues.

I believe you can only use the TM phone on ATT.
