Can't call out from Germany

Just arrived in Frankfurt and my phone joined up with Vodafone.de fine, but I can't make calls to the US. I can receive text messages, but can only send them when on wifi. Can't call the support number because it's a US number! Support chat is offline. Anything I can do?

Traveling is awesome hcayless. Wish I was enjoying Germany with you and I'm sorry your phone isn't working but we will do all we can to help. First, you can call us here in the U.S. for help. Here is a link with our Global team's calling card number http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/global/support.html . Also, did you set up a global calling plan for your account before you left the U.S.? You can also view how much calls and data will be while using your phone in another country here http://bit.ly/xZd3pS . Here are the steps below:

• From the home screen, select Settings.

• Select General.

• Select Cellular.

• Drag the Cellular Data right to enable cellular data.

• Select Roaming.

• Ensure the Voice Roaming switch is in the On position.

• Drag the International CDMA switch left or right to enable / disable International CDMA roaming. On International CDMA enabled Off International CDMA disabled
