I am a 10+ year LOYAL customer of Verizon. And I am about fed up. Here is my issue - my Iphone deleted my contacts. I am on vacation and now I can't call home. I call Verizon from my phone for help and they are useless. They asked me if I used Icloud or backup assistant - how the heck am I suppossed to know that. That is there job. And excuse me customer service - I don't have another line you can call me back on. Restore my contacts - and restore them now! Do their customer service reps just sit around and randomly delete contacts from peoples phones?
Also - a few weeks ago I lost my phone. And they had the nerve to tell me they couldn't track my phone. If they can keep track of my data and phone calls - they sure can locate my phone. It's not my responsible to install Find my Iphone onto my phone - what do I pay $250 a month for anyway?
And on top of it all...another phone on my account got dropped in the ocean. And they won't replace it for me. They tell me I have to file an insurance claim and pay a deductible. And if I upgrade to the "free" phone they want to charge me $30. Isn't it enough that I pay them $250 a month - I think I DESERVE a FREE phone! I am living on a fixed income and they FORCE a smarthphone onto my and my 12 year old. And speaking of that - they also won't turn my childs phone off when it reaches it's data limit. I have enough problems in my life - I don't need to monitor cell usuage when I pay them $250 a month. And I am not going to pay for usage controls.
And then - here is the icing on the cake. I sat down to look at my bill and noticed a 9.99 charge for something they call premium messages. It's been on my bill for 11 months in a row - unbelievable. They are robbing me blind. I don't have the time to sit around analyzing my bill each month. Why do they think they can charge me for things I didn't ask for. I didn't sign up for that service.
I will be calling my lawyer Verizon. Give me back my contacts, track my phone, monitor my childs usage, and give me credit for 9.99 x 11 months and replace my phone for free or else I am going to cancel my service.
