I have an iphone and a data plan, but need to send it in to be replaced. Is it possible to use an old phone that doesn't require the data until my replacement phone comes or do I need a smartphone?

Simply, grab your old phone, turn your phone being replaced off, visit the site, select "Activate or Switch Device", enter the requested information, and activate the phone by dialing *228, option 1.
