does this smartphone work with verizon??

also if it does, how much would going online and using the internet cost?

Verizon doesn't allow phones on their network that they don't sell/authorize.

Also, it's 3G "Data Capable" which would be slow compared to 4G LTE.

It site doesn't specify if it will work on a CDMA or GSM system (Verizon is CDMA).
