Anyone else out there in the 39553 area having phone issues?

We are out down here in Baton Rouge,LA. WTH is going on?
The Government shut down the phones!!!
Does any one know how long it will take for the phones to be back up?
We are out in Arkansas and husband truck driver can't get service what is going on anyone have an answer yet
I am on Prepaid $60 per month 2Gb plan I Sent a text at 6am went out fine......... went again to use my phone at 8am and notta, when i call out i get 2 boop boop sounds, cant call out or text.
and it disconnects me when i try , when i log into myverizon account it says please call customer service, I cant even get into my account !!!! when i call them using my phone number to access it disconnects me
I called and used a friends # who pays $300 dollars a month for 4 iphones and got through, they told me that the "PREPAID" system was being upgraded.....

I can not even get through to contact them about this issue.... Annoyed when you need your phone for work
having problems in Arkansas too. First it was no service. Now I have service but cannot send or receive text. I called but all I get is they are having technical problems and to please call back. This is annoying
