How can I transfer texts, photos, etc. from my old phone to my new one?

I've got a new phone that I've transferred my SIM and SD to. But is there any way to get into my old phone so I can get my texts, photos etc out of it and upload them to my verizon cloud account?

I have the same problem except I found my photos on the SIM Card that was placed into my new phone. However, my text messages are still on my old phone. How do I transfer them? There are legal reasons why I need to keep my text messages. Please help.

The photos were on the SD card not the SIM card. You can transfer the SMS messages using a SMS backup application from the Play Store.

Oooh! Just found free SMS Backups and once on wireless was able to save my texts from the old phone to my Google Gmail account. It's awesome!

hi, i am trying to transfer my photos and videos from my old droid onto my computer. i have already transferred my contacts to my new phone. not very tech savvy. any ideas?

How about you start with telling us exactly which Android phone you have? Does it have an SD card in it?
