We are going to Hawaii for vacation and are curious if we will be able to use our phones. I have an older Droid Charge but my husband and parents all have the S4.
The same plan that works in the mainland USA also works in Hawaii. Hawaii is a part of USA and shouldn't be considered a foreign country in terms of cellular service.
