Does $9.99 insurance cover water damage?

Hello,

As the title states, I'm trying to figure out of the $9.99 VZW insurance policy covers water damage. I'm having a hard time getting in contact with a representative and while I know the price of what I'm paying, I'm not sure what the name of the policy is, so the terms & conditions were difficult to decipher.

So, does the $9.99 monthly insurance cover water damage?

I know its important to know features, and coverage surrounding your phone and plan. Insurance for your phone is through Asurion. This insurance does cover the phone being lost, stolen, or damaged. This includes water damage. When you file claim, deductible has to be met, (which can be $149-$199), and a replacement will be sent to you.
