I have been a Verizon customer since 2005. I have a grandfathered data plan with unlimited data. I am due for an upgrade (I have a smartphone) in a few months and have been wondering if I will be able to keep my current plan. I have heard that Verizon is making people give up their grandfathered plans when they upgrade, and that makes me sad. Is this really the case or I am safe?
