Unwanted contacts

Backed up iphone 4S to try & restore sound with videos, etc. itunes restored my husbands contacts on my phone & I cannot delete them. Any ideas?? The sound came back on my phone for a short time, but comes & goes again. I have my contacts stored on icloud & none of the extra ones itune put on there are in icloud. How do I get rid of these unwanted contacts?

Do a reset on the phone... Settings, General, Reset, (select the first option on the list)

Then plug your phone into your computer and make sure you log out of your husbands iTunes account and you're logged in.
